South Africa: Premier of the Free State province MaQueen Letsoha-Mathae attended a gospel music festival on Sunday. The event was organised by 051 Glorious, an organization formed with the aim of supporting the economically vulnerable population
The festival was held at Madiba Arena in Bloemfontein, with attendants getting to experience a night of music and devotion. The event was also hosted with the aim of highlighting the gospel singing talent of the community.
Hundreds of people from all over the province were gathered at Madiba Arena in Bloemfontein for the gospel night. The singing talent of the Premier of Free State MaQueen Letsoha-Mathae came as pleasant surprise to the attendants.
The festival was hosted under the theme Ke ya mo dladleng. Premier Letsoha-Mathae was given a warm and energetic welcome by locals as well as attendees.
The Premier of Free State shared several images from the musical celebration of faith on her official social media account. The officials have shared that the members of the community were happy to see the Premier at the event.
The attendants of the gospel event came from as far as Zimbabwe and Lesotho. The members of the community shared that they were delighted by the success of the gospel event.
The Premier of Free State highlighted that she is a very bug fan of music and she has demonstrated her abilities. She sang a beautiful song in front of the crowd at the Madiba Arena in Bloemfontein .
The crowd went hysterical after hearing the song and appreciated the premier. Afterwards, Premier Maqueen introduced the singing sensation Ntokozo Mbambo to excited attendees.
During the concert, an Anti-GBVF advocacy moment was observed in line with the Premier’s commitment to making Anti-GBVF advocacy a part of every event in the province. This action reflects the province’s dedication to raising awareness and combating Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) in all spaces.
The event was graced by gospel music powerhouses such as; Khaya Mthethwa, Benjamin Dube, Teboho Moloi, Dumi Mkokstad, Ntokozo Mbambo, Janet Manyowa, Noted Vocal Group and Skwara
