St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew is leading the delegation to the 77th OECS Authority Meeting, which will be held in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The meeting serves as a strategic platform to address pressing issues affecting the Caribbean region.
PM Drew will lead a high-level delegation to the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Authority, where the meeting will bring together the Heads of Government from across the OECS region to discuss a range of pressing issues that are affecting the member states of St. Kitts and Nevis.

At the 77th OECS Authority meeting, Prime Minister Drew will engage in bilateral and multilateral discussions. This will advance the priorities of the St. Kitts and Nevis Federation within the framework of the Sustainable Island State Agenda.
According to PM Drew, the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis is committed to deepen its role within the OECS and strengthen ties with its regional partners to deliver greater opportunities, resilience and prosperity for all citizens.
77th OECS Meeting
This year in 2025, OECS is celebrating 44 years of its existence, under which it will observe the 77th OECS Authority meeting. The meeting will be held at St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, and the opening ceremony will be observed around 6:00 p.m.
The meeting is being hosted under the Chairmanship of the Prime Minister of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines – Dr. Ralph Gonsalves. Also, the opening ceremony will telecast virtually on the official YouTube and Facebook page of the OECS.

44 years of OECS
The Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) will officially celebrate its 44th anniversary on June 18, 2025. The OECS is calling on nationals to reflect on a shared journey of resilience, transformation, and progress under the theme “Adapting, Innovating, Sustaining: A Unified OECS for a Changing World.”
The 2025 celebrations will pay tribute to a region that continues to evolve with strength and purpose in the face of global challenges. All twelve member states of OECS will celebrate in a vibrant expression of solidarity, showcasing innovation, and will celebrate the enduring spirit of OECS integration.

OECS to launch new Chatbot
Considering the completion of 44 years, the OECS Commission will also launch an official chatbot via the OECS website to provide 24/7 support, handle common queries, and provide personalized interactions, making an effort to enhance information accessibility.
