Cameroon: The Public Vision Awards recognised Che Malone Fondoh as the ‘Most Loved National Athlete’. The football player is the SC Defender of Indomitable Lions and Simba.
The officials from the award function presented the soccer player with a certificate of ‘Most Loved National Athlete’. On the certificate, it was written, “In recognition of your excellence, efforts and achievements for being an outstanding Sports Actor and winning the participation award.”
Additionally, it was written on the certificate, “Congratulations on your hard work and thank you for being a Star of the public.”
The Public Vision Awards promote the talents and know-how of artists and socio-economic, political and media actors in Cameroon, as they say, “It’s our Business”. This year, the 5th edition of The Public Vision Awards was held at Yaounde on 29 December 2023.

To this great achievement, many supporters and fans of the sportsperson responded and shared their reactions by commenting on the appreciation post.
Numerous of his fans congratulated him for this great achievement. Praising the player, a fan, Prince Sampson wrote, “This guy is good and he always delivered good results, I have confidence in him.”
An athlete, Gattuzo Nji, suggested, “If this guy partner with Christopher wooh Cameroon defence will be lick ROCK”
A digital creator, Richard Kunde greeted him, “Congratulations bro, The sky is your starting point.”
Another digital creator, Clarence Keming Ndigamkong commented, “Congratulations boy. We are behind you.”
The other winners of The Public Vision Awards are:
- Axel Abessolo was awarded the category – Best Male Acting on TV Series. He was rewarded with a 250msq plot in Kribi.
- Hortavie Mpondo was awarded for the category – Best Female Performance on TV Series. She was also rewarded with a 250msq plot in Kribi.
- Duala Duala was recognised as Best Actor and was presented with a cheque of 500,000 FCFA.
- Hortavie Mpondo was also honoured with the title of Best Actress and was rewarded a cheque of FCFA 500,000.
- Haricot Beans was awarded as Best Comedian and the officials honoured the artist with a cheque of 500,000 FCFA.
- The award for the Best Male Business Leader was given to Steve Tchachuang, who was rewarded with a 250msq plot of land in Kribi.
