Botswana: The contestants of the Miss RADP and Mr RADP Pageant visited the Tonota District leadership ahead of the main event of the pageant. The Pageant contestants had the opportunity  to greet and introduce themselves to the leadership.
The meeting was hosted on Saturday, where the participants had the opportunity to get advice from the members of the administration. The youngsters are working hard to get themselves ready for the competition, all of the participants ready to give their best for the contests.
Kgosi Bokamoso Radipitse said that he was grateful for the efforts of the youths who are participating in the competition. The chief said he was pleased to see that the participants came from parts of the district, including villages far from main cities.
The participants claimed that they want to make a mark of their own on the judges of the contest. They want to make their respective communities proud with their performance at the pagant.
Kgosi Bokamoso Radipitse encouraged the participants to continue with these efforts and work hard.
Tonota Council Chairperson Baemedi Medupi also extended his best wishes to the participants for the upcoming contest. He said that the competitors should have confidence in their abilities and give their best during the pageant. Medupi encouraged the members of the community to work together during their journey for the pageant crown.
He also urged the participants to continue to respect their co-competitors. The Council Chairperson also urged the participants to make sure that they are not discouraged by their failure.
District Commissioner, Keabetswe Lesiela said as the competitors get themselves ready for the pageant. He urged them to remember that they were all winners. He said he was grateful for the efforts of the youth to participate in the competition.
Lesiela thanked Council Secretary Thupayamodimo Okaile and her staff for organizing the contestants’ meeting with the leadership. The director said he was confident that the competitors would work hard to make sure the title stays in the district.
