South African Proteas Men made victory by winning the yesterday’s game in Chandigarh, India. The Indian Men In Blue was left defeated with a difference of 51 runs. Now both teams are on tie against each other at 1-1.
Out of five, two matches have been played and three are yet to be played which will decide the winner. The first match was played in Barabati Stadium, Cuttack, Odisha where Team India won by the difference of 101 runs making 175 runs on 6 wickets and leaving Team SA with only 74 runs with all out.
While the games turned completely upside down on Dec 11, 2025 where SA Proteas turned the win in their favour with a difference of 51 runs. At Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Chandigarh, the match was played where the South African team made 213 runs with 4 wickets and Indian team was able to made 162 runs with all out in 19.1 overs.
In yesterday’s match, India decided to do bowling first after winning the toss, but they are making a claim that the Captain of the team Suryakumar Yadav noticed at the toss that the outfield was already dewy when the players were going through their pre-match warm-ups.
Quinton de Kock of SA Proteas remained the Man of the Match after making 90 runs in 46 bowls. De Kock kept clearing the ropes, whenever he had half a chance, particularly with his pulls and pick-up shots square and behind square on the leg side, as the pitch wasn’t a complete featherbed. And this put the Indian bowlers under tremendous pressure.
The team was unable to tackle De Kock’s stumps, as that drove the risk of being whisked over the leg side, yet they couldn’t afford to give him width either. This pressure led India to attempt Yorkers and Wide Yorkers frequently. The pressure combined with the dew to produce errors in the form of wides and full-tosses.
All in whole the match ended making South Africa the winner. The third match in the run IND vs SA T20 will be played on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala.
