They have asked to take the family and close ones to the camp, “Take your family on an unforgettable local getaway to Silwane Tented Camp!”

The Special camp will cost $150 USD per person per night at Silwane Tented Camp, with dinner and breakfast included. The camp will also include drinks, game drives, park and conservation, for which fees are not included in the bookings.

Silwane Camp is an exciting new camp location situated in a stunning private wildlife conservation area adjacent to Hwange National Park, which is one of the last truly great wilderness areas of Zimbabwe.

Silwane Conservation Area is an innovative new project where there was a hunting area which was transformed into a protected, photographic safari area. The initiative began with a small group of conservationists with a passion for Hwange National Park and its surroundings.
The group of individuals began it with a vision of transforming part of the hunting area adjacent to the National Park into a conservancy where wildlife is free to roam anywhere between the two areas.
Some landholders in the area whose income is derived from hunting now share the desire to protect the wildlife for future generations and have joined the initiative. The success of Silwane will encourage other landholders to join the conservation area.

The name ‘Silwane’ is derived from ‘iSilwane’ from the Ndebele language word for lion. Surprisingly, the visitor to Camp Silwane hears the regular roar of the dominant male lion as he patrols his area and often sees the resident pride at the Silwane waterholes.
Silwane Conservation Area is beautifully organised with three permanent waterholes and seasonal water pans that attract prolific game and birdlife.
