Considering the results of Gauteng, Northern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal, African National Congress is at risk of losing its dominant position and is being forced to make coalitions in the key provinces.

The counting of the votes is still on and these trends may evolve in the early results suggesting a significant reconfiguration of South Africa’s political dynamics.
