South Africa: The South African Naval Staff College learners who are currently on a Junior Staff and Warfare Course (JSWC) 91 have explored 44 Parachute Regiment in Bloemfontein for their capability visit on Wednesday, 02 November 2022.

The Acting Officer Commanding the 44 Parachute Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Henry Gordon, explicitly presented the capabilities of airborne fraternity. After the presentation, Junior Staff and Warfare Course 91 learners unilaterally agreed that the SA Navy and Airborne fraternity could jointly work together to enhance strategic military projection in support of regional peace and security.

SA Naval Staff College Directing Staff and Junior Staff Warfare Course (JSWC) 91 Learners Capability Visit of Air Force Bloemspruit and School of Armour.

The Directing Staff of Naval Staff College and the Junior Staff Warfare Course 91 Learners visited two military units in Bloemfontein on Thursday, 3 November 2022. Learners attended early morning presentations and a guided tour of capabilities at the Air Force Training School Bloemspruit.

The visiting group proceeded to the School of Armour, which is situated at Tempe Military Base and was warmly received by the Acting Officer Commanding (AOC) of the Unit, Lieutenant Colonel Veldman. The Acting Officer Commanding presented an overview of the institution; this was followed by presentations on 1 Special Service Battalion and 1 South African Tank Regiment. The Junior Staff Warfare Course 91 learners were taken for a tour, where they were exposed to amour vehicle simulation, amour and vehicle tanks.
