St Kitts: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew, congratulated Desnarine Hanley for winning the Miss St Kitts and Nevis Pageant. He also extended best wishes to the ladies who were crowned the First and Second Runners Up of the National Pageant.
He appreciated them for their exceptional display of talent and poise. He claimed that the performances of all the participants of the pageant was truly awe-inspiring. They also added to the value of the event.
The Miss St Kitts and Nevis Pageant was hosted on Thursday, December 28 with Desnarine Hanley emerging as the winner. She was sponsored by St. Kitts Music Festival and secured an impressive total of 916 points in the Pageant.
After winning the 2023 title, she became the recipient of a full scholarship from Southern University for up to EC$108,000. The runners up for the Pageant were:
Ist Runner Up: Miss TDC Group of Companies – Miss Desanne Maynard. She earned a remarkable total of 859 points.
IInd Runner Up: Miss St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Limited – Azariah Vanterpool, secured a total of 845 points.
Prime Minister congratulated Desnarine Hanley for receiving the scholarship from the Sothern University to facilitate her higher learning. In his congratulatory message, PM Terrance Drew acknowledged the winners dedication and hardwork.
He said that their efforts have paid off and appreciated their achievents. He took the opportunity to honor the efforts of all the participants who participated in the Miss St Kitts and Nevis Pageant. He thanked them for making the pageant most successful.
Addressing the winners, PM Drew extended his best wishes to the three young ladies. He hoped that they would be successful in their future endevours. To the newly crowned queen and her runners up, he said, “May you carry out your reign with grace and excellence”
The people of St Kitts and Nevis also congratulated Hanley for her success. One of the social media users claims that the winner’s performance was excellent asserting that sky is the limit for her.
