ISM Mauritius Ltd and University of Toamasina sign collaboration agreement
Mauritius: A signature ceremony between the University of Toamasina, Madagascar, and the International Slavery Museum (ISM) was organized yesterday at ISM Mauritius Ltd, in Port Louis in the presence of Jean-Maxy Simonet, Chairperson of ISM Mauritius Ltd, Dr Jimmy Harmon, ISM Board Director and Vice Chairperson of the Scientific Committee, Professor Diny Razanakolona, President of the University of Toamasina and other eminent personalities.
Mauritius won second place at IOIG 2023 with a total of 281 medals
Mauritius: Mauritius finished in second place with a total of 281 medals, including 91 gold, 87 silver and 103 bronze, at the 11th edition of the Indian Ocean Island Games (IOIG) held in Madagascar from 25 August to 03 September 2023.
Mauritius Ministry and MBC partners for Live Coverage of IOIG 2023 in Madagascar
Mauritius: The Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Recreation and the Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) signed, today at the seat of the Ministry in Port Louis, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the live coverage of the Indian Ocean Island Games (IOIG) which will be held in Madagascar from 25 August to 03 September 2023.
Mauritius Boxing Federation equips National Boxing Team for IOIG 2023
Mauritius: The Mauritius Boxing Federation (MBF), in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Recreation, proceeded yesterday, at the National Boxing Centre in Vacoas, with the remittance of equipment to the 13 boxers of the National Team participating in the forthcoming Indian Ocean Islands Games (IOIG) 2023 in Madagascar.
