Mauritius: A validation workshop focussing on the report on the Human Resource Development Strategy and Capacity Development Plans, which have been developed under the Institutional Gaps and Needs Assessment (IGNA) project to implement the provisions of the Climate Change Act 2020, opened this morning, at the Hennessy Park Hotel in Ebène.

Mauritius: A Refuge Centre was inaugurated this afternoon, at Quatre Soeurs, by the Prime Minister, Mr Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, with the objective to protect and safely evacuate local communities living along the south-eastern coastal stretch of Mauritius who are at risk in events of inundation from high tides, storm surges and tidal waves.
