Thohoyandou police request public assistance to locate two missing persons

Africa: The Police in Thohoyandou is investigating cases of two missing persons who disappeared in separate locations in the Vhembe District.

A nine-year-old girl, Mpfunzeni Fiona Matodzi, from Itsani Matieni village, was last seen on Thursday, 11 August 2022, in the morning. She allegedly left home going to attend school; she was wearing a blue school uniform (a tunic) with black shoes.

Unfortunately, the learner never returned home and has since disappeared.

Meanwhile, Mudzuli Tshilongo, aged 14, was reported missing on Tuesday, 09 August 2022, at Tshitomboni village. Allegedly, her mother left her at home in the morning when she went to visit a relative.

When she returned home in the afternoon, she discovered that her daughter was nowhere to be found, and she did not inform anyone where she was going.

Police and the members of the community conducted several searches for both missing persons at their relatives, friends and surrounding areas but were not successful.
