Botswana: Tonota District is preparing to welcome their RADP Queen, and winner of the national title, Gorata Sego to her home village in Mabesekwa. The homecoming event will be hosted in honour of the Miss RADP Queen on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
The Tonota District Council invited the people of all communities to come to the Mabesekwa Village to celebrate. With the welcome event, the authorities wants to convey their best wishes to Gorata Sego.
Sego won the national title of Miss RADP Queen on November 25, 2023, in a remarkable display of talent and grace. The theme of the event was: Unearthing Natural Beauty and Talent, and the event was held in Gaborone.
The Tonota District Representative battled breathtaking beauties from various cities and district councils of Botswana. The beauties had won the Miss RADP Pageants of their respective districts.
Gorata Sego impressed the judges in every round of the competition and emerged at the top of the competition, crowned as the queen. She walked away with P70,000.00 at the end of the pageant.
The district council announced that the young woman has made them proud with her performance on the national level.
Gorata Sego is a dedicated young woman who has been working for the betterment of her community in the Tonota District for several years. She is a volunteer working with the Botswana Red Cross Society.
After she won the pageant, the Botswana Red Cross Society also appreciated her achievement and wished her luck for her future. At the same time, the organization claimed that her association with BRCS made them proud and happy.
The people of the various communities in Tonota District have appreciated the young woman for winning the title. After the district council shared the news of the homecoming of Sego, the people flooded the announcement post with happy and fond messages.
They showered their love on the young woman, with messages like “My Girl” and “My Queen” dominating the comments section.
