Cape Town has been recognised as the ‘Best Beach Destination’ in the International Destinations Category at Travel + Leisure India’s Best Awards 2024.
Love Cape Town, which is the official travel agency for Cape Town has given a shoutout to the Cape Town Beaches and posted a short video completely dedicated to the city.
While sharing the reel Love Cape Town captioned, “Let’s go to beach! We have some good news! Cape Town has been named as the ‘Best Beach Destination’ in the International Destinations Category at Travel + Leisure India’s Best Awards 2024.”
“To celebrate, here are some beaches you must visit this summer such as Llandudno, Camps Bay, Clifton, Muizenberg, Fish Hoek and Blouberg,” exclaimed the Cape Town travel agency.
Considering this, Travel + Leisure India officially announced on its Instagram handle, “The award for the Best Beach Destination (International) at #IBA2024 goes to: Cape Town, South Africa and Arugam, Sri Lanka.”

Travel + Leisure India & South Asia celebrated the pinnacle of the hospitality industry by organising the 13th edition of India’s Best Awards (IBA). The event was held on Dec 12, 2024 at ITC Maurya, New Delhi. The annual reader’s choice award recognised the best of all as voted by the discerning travellers.
