Nakuru, Kenya: Five lives have been lost in a road accident following a fatal collision between a Trailer and a Marcedes Benz Yesterday (Sunday), December 3, 2023, around 20:30 at Kikopey. The Incident took place at Kikopey Trading Centre, Gigol-Nakuru Highway.
Reportedly, the two vehicles, Trailor no. KBB/ ZB 764 and Marcedes Benz, who’s number was’nt visible, were heading towards Nakuru at full speed. Suddenly, the two of them lost balance and caused a brutal collision.
The trailer’s driver was suspected to be in a drunk state while driving. He again lost control and hit two Pedestrians. The two of them were killed on the spot.
Further, The same vehicle also rammed into an iron sheet structure located a few metres away from the road, which again caused fatal death to the lives of three males who were inside playing pool table games.
The trailer also caused massive property damage, including three motor vehicles in a yard: a Land Rover, Peugeot 405, and Isuzu Tropper.
The Nairobi Police Service was immediately called by the nearby local county members after the incident to investigate the case. The Police took assistance from the local people to get evidence from the incident.
As per the people, the driver escaped from the scene after the incident happened yesterday.
The Nairobi Police Service has been investigating the case and has been making many efforts to search and arrest the driver of the vehicle, which is underway after he escaped the scene of the Accident.
Meanwhile, after the incident’s post has been taken to social media, several users extended their heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their members.
They presented their opinions on the situation and thanked the Police for immediately arriving at the scene and putting considerable effort into getting the five lost justice.
