South African star Tyla made to California, USA and performed at the world’s most popular music festival ‘Coachella’.
Tyla made the audience lose their breath at Coachella with an unforgettable performance and marked her debut at the festival. Music fans from all over the world gathered to see the superstar take the stage and the stunning performance she delivered.
Earlier she has performed at the rocking international music festivals such as Lollapalooza, Osheaga, Big Slap, Summer Sonic, One Universe, Afro Nation, Rock in Rio, Lalala Fest and more.

Performance and Collabs on Stage
With her global hits like ‘Water’ and ‘Push 2 Start’ the performances brought surprises for Tyla as a newcomer to Coachella. Afro star entertained the audience at the annual music festival Indio, California.
She was very much sure to make her Coachella debut a memorable one as she brought out Becky G as a surprise musical guest and also performed a cover of Aaliyah’s ‘Rock the Boat’.
Stage Fits
Meanwhile her stage outfits shook the fashion industry. It was a spectacular to behold the star as it went through the vintage route, plucking pieces from the 2000s for her performance attire.
Designed with Dolce & Gabbana and styled by Ronnie Hart, Tyla chose a look that felt retro in a saucy Y2K way, yet fresh. The superstar emerged on stage wearing a sparkling Swarovski crystal mesh bra top styled under a white crop T-shirt; she paired it with a red and white brocade mini skirt that was punctuated with black glass fringe. The beautiful pieces were all revived from the Italian label’s spring 2000 runway collection.
To make her throwback outfit feel modern and current, Tyla added her own special touches to the finish look including some torn fishnet tights, belly chains, hoop earrings and Burju’s leopard Leona boots. Every jewellery was designed by Pandora as she is a face for the label.

Tyla and Tygers Bond
At Coachella, more always more and her nod to reviving archival designs was entirely on point. Once asked on the red carpet of an award show about the importance of ‘impact’, Tyla responded, “You never know how something you say or do – a lyric, a performance might ignite in someone else and what they in turn will pass forward to another person.”
“So I feel very lucky – for my fans, my Tygers who have given me such an exciting life, allowing me to share and grow into all the different versions of myself as an artist and as a woman,” expressed Tyla.
During her Coachella set, Tyla stopped to shout out the ‘Tygers’ by spray-painting a giant tiger statue with her name in bright green. She finished the set with a version of her big hit ‘Water’, including a moment for her famous viral dance moves.
