South Africa: The Reaction Unit South Africa has received the reports of a woman being found dead in her room in Trenance Park – KZN. The 51 year old victim was living in her house at the Marula Circle residence on Wednesday morning.

The incident happened in the early hours of the morning on Wednesday. The team of the Reaction Unit South Africa has shared that the cause of the victim’s death is a single gunshot wound. Meanwhile, the preliminary investigation into the incident has started

The team has shared that they received the call for assistance at approximately 09:33 on Wednesday and the team of officers had been dispatched. A team of paramedics also reached the scene shortly afterwards and saw the victim dead on her bed.

The reaction officers also found a 9mm pistol next to her dead body. The paramedics examined her but she did not show any signs of life afterwards, she was declared dead.

The reaction officers have not yet established any details of the circumstances that led to  her death. They have interviewed some of the victim’s neighbours in Trenance Park – KZN to get to the root of the incident.

However, the neighbours have not been able to provide any concrete details about the incident. The circumstantial evidence suggests that the incident is a suicide attempt, pointing to a deep rooted issue of mental health.

The  people of the country concurred that stress and problems of ones life can lead the said person to commit suicide. The issue is  largely overlooked and unaddressed in many parts of the world.

Notably, the issue is extremely sensitive and people with stress, anxiety and issues in mental health need the support of a community and their loved ones. Many mental health practitioners have taken the intiative extend their support and educate people about mental health disorders.

The members of the community have shared their heartfelt grief and condolences on the death of the 51 year old. They acknowledged that people are going through a lot in their lives and need to be supported by their familes and loved ones.
