Limpopo MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture, Hon. Thandi Moraka would like to congratulate Ndavi Nokeri for making it to the Top 30 of the Miss SA 2022 Pageant. Ndavi (23), who was born and bred in Gabaza Village, outside Tzaneen, Mopani District Municipality, Limpopo Province, is the only contestant from the province to make the top 30 of the pageant.
Ndavi, who is currently working for an asset management firm in Cape Town, is a University of Pretoria graduate with a Degree in BCom Investment Management.
She plans to further her studies with an Honours Degree in Economics and Investments to further enhance her understanding of local and global economics.
Ndavi believes there should be a lot of focus on the educational and skills development of learners from underprivileged schools. Her focus is on empowering learners from previously disadvantaged communities so they can make informed decisions about their future.
“I’m grateful; I think I’m still digesting this news because it is one huge step closer to a dream coming to a reality. It is also a confirmation not only for me but for anyone who also comes from a small beginning that our dreams are indeed valid. We should believe that whatever we want to achieve is possible with hard work, prayer, and dedication,”. says Ndavi.
The MEC also congratulated Tumelo Ntsoane for winning the 2022 Miss Teenager SA Limpopo Province. The 18-year-old from Mashite Ga-Mphahlele is 1st year Law student at the University of Johannesburg. Tumelo, who runs her own pageant (Miss Intellectual Ga-Mphahlele), says her objective is to empower young ladies in her community to achieve their best.
“I’m very excited to have won the Limpopo 2022 title. This is a huge achievement not only for myself but also for the people that supported my passion and those supported by it”, says Itumeleng.
“This is a big achievement for Limpopo Province, and we are rallying behind Ndavi. Our wish and belief is for her to go all out and bring the title back home. I would also like to congratulate Tumelo Ntsoane for her achievement with the 2022 Miss Teenager SA. We are truly proud and humbled because this puts our province on the map.
I have interacted with both girls, and they have brought so much positivity to their respective journeys. I am urging everyone in the region to support and vote for her so she can make the top 10,” concludes MEC Thandi Moraka.
