Botswana: Walker XI, the team which was previously on the third spot of the Kweneng Regional Football Association Division One Weekly log standing has emerged at the top. The football team has won this week’s match against the Thamaga Shooting Stars.
The team which was on the top of the weekly logs for almost ten weeks, has been dethroned. The team was dethroned from the top despite being the only team among the Division One teams to have never faced defeat.
The reason Majweng SC has slipped from its spot may be that the team has played only 18 matches, while the other teams have played nineteen matches.
Walker XI has been playing remarkably well and limiting their opponents to smaller goals. The team has scored 34 goals in the tournament. Meanwhile, the opponents of the team were limited to 11 goals.
Further, the match which was to be played between Thamaga FC and Sanyane Celtics was cancelled due to violence.
