Ghana: The Founder of the New Force – Nana Kwame Bediako made a statement over the arrival of a ship in Kumasi, Ghana that will be arriving soon with the containers.
Considering the arrival of the ship the founder of the New Force Bediako stated, “I will dredge to get the sea to Kumasi so we can bring ships here.”
“It’s 2024, we can’t be dragging containers to Kumasi,” mentioned Nana Kwame Bediako.
Nana Kwame Bediako is the hopeful presidential leader of The New Force Movement and has promised to extend the sea from the coast of Ghana to the Ashanti Region.
Bediako is popularly known as Freedom Jacob Caesar or Cheddar. He is a business magnate who sees the crucial step towards unlocking the potential of Ghana’s eastern and Western Corridors to boost international trade.
Recently, in an interview conducted by Kojo Marfo on Abusua 96.5 FM in Kumasi, Bediako explained his plan of drawing inspiration from observations of other countries extending maritime transport routes inland.
In the interview, Cheddar highlighted about Dubai’s transformation from desert to coastal city as an example of what could be achieved.
Leader Bediako raised the point of why they are still transporting individual containers by road when the sea could offer a faster and more efficient means.
The founder has emphasized on the inefficiencies of the current system, where goods are transported by road and often arrive damaged or spoiled after the six hour journey from Tema Harbour to Kumasi.
He mentioned that, “I want to open up the East and Western Corridor infrastructure.” He added that he desires to build power stations, energy stations and connect the gas, create industries and bring technology.
Founder of the New Force has enlightened about adding the value and shifting towards the local manufacturing, he challenged Ghana to produce its own electronic gadgets by using domestic resources, such as lithium and plastics.
Currently, Bediako is in the Ashanti Region and will spend five days engaging with ordinary Ghanaians and incorporating the visions and aspirations into his manifesto for the upcoming national election in December 2024.
