Botsswana: Gojwane Kgotla is hosting the first round of the Mr and Miss RADP Contest. The youngsters from all over the community will have the opportunity to showcase their talent.
The youngsters who win the title for the community edition of the Mr and Miss RADP Fashion Show and pageant, will move on to compete in the district level. The Tonota District is the reigning champion of the Mr and Miss RADP pageant.
The pageant is scheduled to take place on August 24, with several members of the local community in attendance. The event will be open for attendants of all ages. The organizers of the event took the opportunity to express their excitement.
They shared that the Queen and King as well as finalists who will contest at the District title ” Miss RADP and Mr RADP 2024 – Tonota District. The pageant will be hosted at the Kgotla, starting at approximately, 14:00 Hours.
The community have extended their support to the participants and urged them to do their best when competing in the pageant and fashion show. The people have asked the competing youngsters to not disappoint them and bring the 2024 RADP Crown to the district.
The attendants will have to buy the tickets to gain entry into the event. The adults have to buy the tickets for P10 and Kids can get the tickets for half the price at P5
The event serves to highlight the community for their support and encouragement to the youngsters compete. The pageant is expected to feature a number of different rounds that highlight the opportunity.
The officials have shared that the various rounds seek to highlight the talent and increase the confidence of the young competitors. The Botswanan creative sector stakeholders maintain that it is important for the family, community and government to make sure that they are providing adequate support and encouragement to the youngsters.
The nationwide RADP Pageants, which take place every year seek to promote this view and bring all the talented youngsters of the nation to a single stage.
