Cape Town: The DHL Stormers will play their last URC regular season game at DHL Stadium on this coming Friday, May 16, 2025 against Welsh Side Cardiff Rugby. The City of Cape Town advised the spectators on parking arrangements and other logistics for the official game day.
Reportedly, the game will be marked as DHL Stormers’ last game at home before the United Rugby Championship playoffs that will kick off in two weeks. The game is scheduled to be played at 7:00 p.m. and the gates at the DHL Stadium will open at 3:30 p.m.
As per the sources, the main URC match will be proceeded by SA Rugby for Under-21 Cup clash between the DHL Western Province U21 and Fidelity ADT Lions U21 at 3:45 p.m. Due to the limited parking space available in the Green Point Precinct. The fans were encouraged to park in the CBD. Hop on a free MyCiTi shuttle or take the Fan Walk to the stadium.

The visitors will be provided with the free MyCiTi shuttle service that will be operayed exclusively for ticket holders, running from the Civic Centre and Thibault Square stations to the stadium at 3:15 p.m. Also, more information regarding shuttle operation is completely available on the MyCiTi website.
Considering this, Member of the Mayoral Committee for Safety and Security – Alderman JP Smith said that for the entire rugby season, the MyCiTi shuttle service has worked tremendously to reduce the traffic congestion on the roads as they are grateful to the thousands of spectators who have used the service to get to the stadium.
For the final match of the URC regular season, they asked rugby spectators to continue the tradition of using the shuttle especially for the coming Friday game when the roads will be shared with other motorists exiting the city centre and to those coming in for an evening in the CBD.

Moreover, the shuttle, with its dedicated lane to the stadium, will ensure that they beat the traffic and reach to the stadium smoothly.
The buses will take off from D.F. Malan Street in front of the Civic Centre MyCiTi Station. Further, the spectators will take the bus and parking will be available at the Civic Centre from 3:00 p.m.
Notably, the parking bays will be accessible from Hertzog Boulevard incoming and on Civic Road. It will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Also, the paid parking available at the Parkalot on Jack Craig Street and at the Harbour Arch on Harbour Arch Boulevard.
