Dominica: Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit will participate in the World Governments Summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Confirming his participation in the summit he will contribute to high-level discussions on global investment trends and the future of tourism that is evolving international landscape.
Reportedly, the World Governments Summit in Dubai, UAE will run from February 03 to 05 under the theme, ‘Shaping Future Governments’.
At the Summit, Prime Minister of Dominica Roosevelt Skerrit will speak on two featured roundtables i.e.
- the Future of Investments, and
- the Future of Tourism
Furthermore, participation of Prime Minister Skerrit will highlight the priorities of Dominica as a Small Island Developing State (SIDS) that emphasis mainly on resilient and sustainable investment, climate-smart infrastructure, renewable energy and inclusive economic growth.
The World Governments Summit in Dubai, UAE will bring together the heads of government, policymakers, private sector leaders and international institutions to explore innovative solutions to global challenges. This will shape the future of governance and development.
In the absence of Prime Minister of Dominica Roosevelt Skerrit, from the state, Minister for Finance, Economic Development, Climate Resilience and Social Security – Dr. Irving McIntyre will be the acting Prime Minister.
