Africa: Africa Weather Forecast launched their climate summary for this week from 06 to 12 of November, in which they reported Intermittent showers are expected in the east on Monday and Tuesday and in the west and central interior on Thursday, returning to the east from Friday onwards.
As per the prediction, Monday and Tuesday seem to be partly cloudy and cool in the east at first but become partly cloudy over the central parts as well in the afternoon, with a high chance of scattered afternoon showers and thundershowers east of a line from Gaborone through Maseru to Gqeberha and a low chance of high-impact storms along the eastern escarpment and eastern Highveld today (Monday). Otherwise, fine and warm elsewhere but hot over the Cape interior on Monday but very hot along the west coast on Tuesday while cool in the east.
WEDNESDAY: Fine at first but becoming partly cloudy with a low chance of isolated thunderstorms over north-western Northern Cape and eastern Highveld with extremely light rainfall. Otherwise, this will most likely be a calm and warm to hot day, very hot and windy in the west with increased chances of runaway veld fires over the Cape interior.
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY: Medium chance of showers and thundershowers over the central interior, forming a moisture conveyor belt that draws topical moisture into the central regions on Thursday and slightly towards the east on Friday. Otherwise, fine and warm in the east, with strong winds accompanying the storms in the west and central interior. Medium chance of light evening rainfall in the far southwest on Friday.
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY: The tropical belt of showers and thundershowers is expected to redevelop in the east, precipitating light to moderate rainfall on both days but possibly intense in the far east on Sunday.
