Finally, the most awaited match of the UFC Heavyweight Championship occurred in which boxer Anthony Joshua knocked out Francis N’Gannou clearly in the second round from the ring.
After losing the fight N’Gannou apologised to all his fans and supporters and tweeted officially, “Sorry guys I let you all down, today was a bad day in the office but tomorrow will be another day.”
Moreover, artist Drake has also put his money on him making a bet that Francis N’Gannou will win. Drake placed a US $615,000 (approx. 368.5 million CFA) bet on Francis N’Gannou before his fight against Anthony Joshua.

After the fight, boxer Anthony Joshua showed a generous gesture and advised Francis N’Gannou not to leave boxing and said, “Don’t Leave Boxing, Do It.”
The Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua showed a great sportsmanship and respect for Francis N’Gannou after knocking the former UFC champ in the second round.

It was unexpected from the rival fighters AJ and Francis, who showed respect for each other. Joshua even went as far as advising him not to leave boxing.
Notably, N’Gannou switched from UFC to boxing and this is his 2nd fight with two losses. Anthony Joshua has still left the doors open for Francis N’Gannou as if the Cameroonian fighter wants a rematch.

Reportedly, the UFC Heavyweight Match was observed on March 09, 2024 in Riyadh, UAE. Joshua aced in the opening round and N’gannou appeared to be getting comfortable when the Brit dropped him with a clean right hand.
Joshua then proved himself in the second round, knocking down N’Gannou to the mat. The former UFC champion bested the count, only to have Joshua immediately flatten him again, reaching the end of the fight.
For Anthony Joshua a win over N’Gannou actually meant a lot for him after his performance in his professional boxing debut. The former UFC heavyweight champion has stunned the world, when he battled with Tyson Fury to a split-decision loss in his first foray into the sweet science.
