The African Young Voices Media Empire (AYV) organised an Annual Award in which they recognised the staff people who have demonstrated unwavering dedication and commitment and performed their duties throughout the year in 2023.
Honouring the AVY staff’s excellence for their outstanding performance, the CEO of AYV – Ambassador Anthony Navo Junior, said that the Awards are presented to inspire staff and appreciate their hard work and positive contributions to the Company’s growth.
The CEO also said that the AVY Media Staff Awards afford the opportunity to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the staff towards their respective duties.
In the Award prizes given to the winners considered, $1000 for the Staff of the Year for both male and female categories along with that an IPhone-14 Pro Max for the Most Outstanding Accomplishment of the Year.
The staff persons who were recognised for their work and outstanding performances as they served with dedication to the Company are:
- Elizabeth Momoh – the Deputy Director of News and Current Affairs, was honoured as Best Female Staff of the Year.
- Bunting Wright – the Head of Broadcast Tech, was honoured as Best Male Staff of the Year.
- Show: Wake Up by Sierra Leone was recognised as the Most Consistent Television Program.
- News and Current Affairs Department was recognised as the Best Department of the Year.
- Radio Show: Hot Box was awarded as the Most Consistent Radio Program.
- Rachel Kpaka was honoured as the Best Upcoming Staff.
- AYV Bo was awarded as the Best Bureau.
- Akie Coker was recognised as the Most Loyal Staff
- Yusuf Kamara was honoured as the Most Committed Driver
- AYV Cypher or Hit the Street was recognised as the Best Entertainment Shows
- AYV Online Department was recognised as Most Outstanding Accomplishment
Other than the above recognitions, other staff persons who were honoured are Alusine Koroma, Marcus Sesay, Ronald Joe Morovia, Aruna Bendu and Samuel Eric Kamara.
