Botswana: The President elect of Botswana, Advocate Duma Gideon Boko, who led his political Party Umbrella for Democratic Change to a historic victory will be inaugurated into his office on November 8. The officers have shared that the inauguration ceremony will be hosted at the National Stadium in the morning.
The officials have shared that the inauguration ceremony will be open for all the members of the community. The fifth president of Botswana, Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi transfer the power of the nation to his successor, Advocate Boko.
Members of the community as will as the past and present leadership of Botswana are delighted to see that the transfer of power was peaceful and smooth. The President elect said that the rest of the world could take lessons from Botswana on how the transfer of power had taken place.
Ahead of the Inauguration ceremony, the President elect has addressed the nation, after the Handover of the President’s office.
He also asked for their support as he took reigns as the new leader of the country. He urged the people to understand that he may make mistakes and offend the people of the community. In light of this, the leader has asked the people to guide and counsel him as he led them.
He promised to humble himself and submit himself to the service of the organization. He said that he was grateful for the honor and trust that he has received from the people.
Duma Gideon Boko made these remarks Arukah House of Restoration Church in Gaborone on Sunday. This was the first time that the members of the community heard from their leader after his elections.
During the inauguration, President Boko will address the people of the country and share his views and plans for the future. The members of the community will learn about the future plans for the nation and its people.
