Maun, Botswana: Red Cross Society of Botswana was a part of the annual sports tournament in Boro Village. It is a part of a community outreach activity hosted by Okavango Kopano Mokoro Community Trust (OKMCT).

The team showcased the impactful work of the BRCS team in promoting public health and safety. The Sports Tournament happens place every year. The programme consists of 5 villages.

Xharaxao
Xuoxao
Through this programme, the authorities wanted to give villagers the opportunity to showcase their talents. At the same time, they shared several messages with the locals to promote awareness of healthcare. With the event, the organizers were able to reached more than 200 people. They shared risk communication messages on Tobacco control.
Botswana Red Cross Society wants to continue educating and assessing people on using tobacco and other substances. They believe that this is an important step in addressing health issues among the people of Botswana.
The organizers also gave first aid assistance during outreach activities and games. This highlights their dedication to immediate, life-saving support.
