The Reaction Unit of South Africa has received reports of a robbery incident in Brindhaven – KZN. The incident took place in the late morning hours of Thursday, December 7, 2023. The victim of the robbery incident was a twenty year old woman who called the members of the reaction unit.
The victim called in the Reaction Unit South Africa at approximately 11:26 AM. The reaction Unit found the victim who had called them in while they were on their way to the scene of crime. At the time, she was walking on the Russom Street.
The officers interviewed the victim about the circumstances of the incident. She explained that she was confronted by two men who robbed her at knifepoint. The robbers took her iPhone and handbag on Glenhaven Drive.
Afterwards, One of the men stabbed her on her cheek before they fled on foot. She was treated on scene by Paramedics.
The officers of the Reaction unit conducted an extensive search for the robbers but no arrests were made. The identities of the two suspects has also not been made public by the authorities. Meanwhile, reports suggest that investigation into the incident is currently in progress.
The reaction unit recently apprehended another pair of robbers from the Brindhaven Community on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. The reaction unit was on patrol for the security of the region. They recovered some items from the robbers.
The incidents of robbery in the area are a proof of the increased criminal offences in the region. Reaction Unit is one of the only law enforcement agencies that are patrolling in the area to combat crime and maintain peace.
Meanwhile, the people of KwaZulu-Natal appreciate Reaction Unit officers for protecting the people of the KZN communities. The people are also concerned about their safety in this situation.
