Cape Town: The City of Cape Town is organising a governmental event and is ‘Calling all residents!’ to join the gathering. The gathering will be held on Thursday, March 07, 2024, from 5:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Concourse, 7 Wale Street, Cape Town CBD.
The City of Cape Town and Western Cape Government are eager to meet with people in person and to engage with them directly, personally.
The officials have encouraged the residents and said, “We encourage all residents to attend because your valuable input can contribute to the betterment of our communities.”
As per the sources, the meetings have a schedule limited to 5 minutes. It will be a one-on-one interaction, which will offer the following benefits:
- The meetings will follow the notion of First come, first served.
- Interested ones can register to get their queue number
- On the meeting day, the interested ones who have registered can look for their number on the screen.
- After that, they need to wait for their number to be called and an usher to escort them.
- Then, they can meet with the person whom they wish to see
- For enquiries, interested ones can consult the WCED School Admissions Desk
Reportedly, the invitation is for one-on-one meetings. All rights of entry to this event are reserved, and disruptive groups will not be allowed, in the interests of other residents in attendance.
As per the invitation, no RSVP (Respondez s’il vous plait) is required, as the people are welcome and the event invites open entry of all but with the complete registration to have a record.
The event is sponsored by the Western Cape Government and legislative capital of South Africa, the City of Cape Town. The event is a great opportunity for the local residents and government to meet together at one place, where they can present and discuss the points, views or opinions they want to add to the nation’s development or the changes they want to see in South Africa.
