Reportedly, the producer Gangsta has claimed on the song ‘Superstar’ and is now following the copyright strike.
Gangsta claimed to be the original producer of the track and alleges that he was neither credited nor compensated for his work on the song.

The trend gained a rise during a highly publicised case involving Baba Charamba and Jah Signal, which set a precedent for artists seeking legal action over copyright disputes.
Considering the case of the song ‘Superstar’, Gangsta Made It asserts that he holds the rights to the song’s production and was not properly acknowledged by Delroy Shewe and Saintfloew.
Gangsta expressed that despite his contributions to the track, he was excluded from the credits and did not receive compensation for his work.
The copyright strike has raged the ongoing tensions within the music community regarding proper crediting and appropriate compensation for creative contributions.
Whereas some observers have praised artists like Baba Charamba for taking a stand and raising their voices against the alleged copyright infringement, others argue that disputes should be resolved through the exchange of dialogues and by negotiating a little.
Following the copyright strike issue, Tapiwa Starman Chidomaya commented, “It is time for you as an artist to remove everything you have done for the producers or studios you have linked with.”
