Cape Town: The DHL Stormers are ready to make their comeback in a United Rugby Championship clash against Benetton at DHL Stadium on April 26, 2025. The City of Cape Town advised residents and spectators on logistics for game day.
DHL Stormers pushed to secure a URC play-off spot continues against Italian side Benetton at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday. The fans are encouraged to park in the CBD due to limited parking in the Green Point Precinct and hop on a free MyCiTi shuttle or take the Fan Walk to the stadium.
The free MyCiTi shuttle service will exclusively operate for ticket holders, and will run from the Civic Centre and Thibault Square stations to the stadium from 3:45 p.m. Note that the stadium gates will open at 4:15 p.m. The last bust will depart the stadium and Green Point Precinct post-game at 10:15 p.m.
The spectators can take the bus, and parking will be available at the Civic Centre beginning from 10:00 a.m. The parking bays will be accessible from Hertzog Boulevard incoming and on Civic Road, that will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Also, paid parking is available at the Parkalot on Jack Craig Street and at the Harbour Arch on Harbour Arch Boulevard.

Considering this, Member of the Mayoral Committee for Safety and Security – Alderman JP Smith said that there will be a lot of activity in the city centre that will aurround, as it is month end. The Cape Town International Jazz Festival is also taking place at the CTICC on Saturday, and this could result in high traffic volumes on roads in the CBD.
Moreover, the Rugby spectators are advised to arrive early to avoid the rush. They are working with the event organiser to ensure a safe and smooth experience on their way to the game and at the stadium. They called on the faithful to come in their numbers and show support to the Stormers in their push to make it to the URC playoffs.
