California-based digital content creator Hector Aguilar shared his experience from a recent trip to Londiani, Kenya, today (Tuesday), December 5, 2023. He went to Kenya with a Medical Team to undertake his mission of building Eternity 7.
The Building for Eternity 7 is a mission team that includes Doctors, Nurses, and many other professionals. They raise money and donate personal contributions to build a church in a community in need.
During their trip, Hector and his team undertook various initiatives for the community and children’s welfare. They provide Vacation Bible School to many of the children in the Community. They provided free medical consultations to the local people of Londiani, who were majorly in need.
Hector shared that there were around 200 patients around a day.
The Team members had the privilege of visiting nine local churches with nine preaching teams conducting sermons in their local home Churches.
He shared that the Kenyan families received them with open arms and gave all they had with loving hearts.
“The children were well-behaved and sat quietly singing hymns throughout the sermon. It was a thing of beauty. The Holy Spirit was truly present,” he added.
Hector with Medical Team, carried out a weeklong evangelical campaign during which they packed foodstuffs nightly with over 400 kids plus their parents. He said the Lord blessed His work and led 74 souls to be baptized into His Kingdom.
The Team also went on a Safari trip to the Kenyan animal reserve. During their trip, they saw cougars, zebras, bulls, gazelles, Elephants, giraffes & lions with their cub, marking It as a truly breathtaking and memorable experience.
They was also invited to visit the Masai Mara village and learn more about their cultures and customs. They also had the opportunity to learn why the males jump to attract the attention of the young ladies.
Further, he shared that as their week ended, sadness started to creep in as the team realized that their journey together was coming to an end. While remembering his journey, he shared that they met many wonderful people, and the children stole their hearts.
“Despite their living conditions and the lack of personal belongings, they have the most sincere smiles and share their heart filled with love. I’ve never experienced such amazing affection before,” he added.
At last, Hector felt emotional and asserted that their team truly missed everyone in Londiani and prayed that the Lord would bless His work, church, and children.
