Dominica: Dominica DA Sports VYBEZ extends New Year greetings to all the residents, players and society and also talked about the sports association and the role of media in sports.
Firstly they started by wishing a Happy, prosperous New Year to all. DA Sports Vybez stated that they needed to take one step up in terms of the Sports Association this year.
DA Sports VYBEZ said, You must have opposition, and they will criticize you, but the media of Dominica are nice. However, International media are doing a lot, and because of them, sports are carefully looked at, and Associations are more on their toes.
Furthermore, DA Sports VYBEZ added that some association members should man up because they know what media is all about. Then, they approached everyone to come and work with DA Sports VYBEZ because they are the ones who are working for the youth and their benefits.
The facts are there to be seen:
- DABA had, Good 3×3 Competition last year, but now it needs a National Competition. That was one of the things the massive was calling for when they removed the former president. And they have the support of the clubs and their government.
- Dominica Netball Association had a good league last year in 2022 and still continues the movement and lets it flow.
- Dominica Cricket Association respects the Nature Isle of Dream 11 Tournament. And the same energy is needed for this competition, and if the player puts that energy into the longer local version of the game, then the player will rise sky high.
- DFA, DA Sports VYBEZ said that we all know you have the money, and there are no excuses in 2023, and they also commend players for 2022 with the two competitions but respect the Ladies. Fifa has a special love for the ladies.
The President of the Dominica Netball Association said they are looking to have a Grassroots Programme in the new year.
Ms Kolita Hamilton also told DA Sports VYBEZ that the Association is looking to acquire a High-Performance Coach.
There’s an Under 16 tournament coming up from March 23 to April 1 of this year.
This is in collaboration with the Caribbean Netball Association and the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica.
