Caribbean: Former Destination Marketing Manager at Discover Dominica Authority (DDA) – Andia Ravariere has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nevis Tourism Authority (NTA). She will begin her services for the role from Monday, September 01, 2025.
Her previous duty as Destination Marketing Manager for DDA began on February 14, 2024. During her tenure she pushed tourism of Dominica to increase visitor arrivals and expanded country’s reach to niche markets. Before this, she also served for seven years to Tourism Ministry of Anguilla. There she guided the island’s tourism to rebound the COVID-19 pandemic.
Andia Ravarie is known for her passion and dedicated work done for sustainable and community-driven tourism. She founded the Colihaut Community Tourism Development non-profit Group in 2013. This launched in Dominica during the celebration of Colihaut Fish Lime event. This was a great step to strengthen the local industries. This initiative majorly empowered women entrepreneurs, by impacting the economy of the community.
Acknowledging Andia Ravarie as the new CEO of Nevis Tourism Authority, Premier of Nevis – Mark Brantley welcomed Ravarie to her new role. He shared her experience and work done for sustainable tourism and in marketing Caribbean Destinations.
Considering this, Ravarie shared her vision to position Nevis at the forefront of Caribbean tourism by redefining island’s luxury through nature, culture, sustainability and innovation. She emphasised her major goals including the delivering experiences to travellers, by empowering residents, and preserving the heritage of the island.

Andia Ravarie believes in differentiating the Caribbean islands than contesting any type of competition among them. She likes to emphasise the importance of identifying and amplifying unique offers given by every destination.
With her new role, she will make Nevis to stand out in the global tourism marketplace. She will foster collaboration and avoid silos. She is ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and aligned in better way.
Raverie’s forward thinking leadership style is commendable. It will be playing an essential role in driving growth of Nevis tourism and long-term sustainability for Nevis Island.
