Four suspects sought for home invasion in Trenance Park

South Africa: The Reaction Unit of South Africa has instituted a manhunt for Four (4) suspects. As per the officials, the suspects are responsible for a home invasion and robbery attempt. The incident occurred on Marula Circle in Trenance Park – KZN on Sunday, January 7.

The officials have clarified that the affected family did not report any injuries on their person at the time of the robbery attempt. Meanwhile, two of the family members reported that the robbers used tear gas on them.

The Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations Centre received a call for assistance at approximately 14:34. Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched to start the investigation and help.

When the law enforcement officials reached the site of the crime, the victims informed them that the robbers had entered the yard over the rear boundary wall. The incident took place in the early hours of the afternoon on Saturday.

The four robbers that are being sought for the robbery in Trenance Park confronted a family of four. The victims included a 67-year-old male and a 12-year-old boy. The suspects demanded cash and cellphones.

The family reported that the robbers tear gassed two of the victims before they fled through a dense bush at the rear of the property. The officials have started an investigation into the matter.

The people of the country are blaming law enforcement agencies for the increase in crime. The people demand stricter laws and punishment to dissuade the robberies and other related criminal offences.

Reaction Unit has recorded several criminal offences in the Kwazulu Natal region, prompting insecurity among the people. Some social media users have shared that they do not feel safe anymore.

One of the users claimed that they had seen the video of the home invasion that the Reaction Unit South Africa had reported. On seeing the video, the authorities claimed that they were not safe in their own homes.
