France govt has decided to withdraw its troops and Ambassador from the African nation Niger . According to sources France govt has taken this decision after assessing the ground-level situation in niger . Niger witnessed the coup in the month of July. The military rulers  ousted President Mohamed Bazoum from his post .

The French president announced this breakthrough news with media personnel.
President stated that these French soldiers were stationed in France at the ousted government’s request.
After the coup, military rulers of niger were putting pressure on France to withdraw its troops from niger territory . Military rulers even kept the French ambassador hostage for a long time inside the premises of the French embassy.
Nobody was allowed to enter the French embassy to meet the French Ambassador. The Ambassador survived on rations already stored inside the embassy .
French troops were asked to leave former French colonies like Mali and Burkina also.
Military rulers of niger see it as a small intial success for their military rule .
French govt has already witnessed a similar fate in Mali, Burkina, and Faso, where they were asked to leave the country . Now with the entry of the niger , the number rose to four, where the French govt faced a humiliation.
Niger , Mali, and burkina faso witnessed a recent coup and have now developed a mutual defence pact on September 16 against any external threats and any possible resistance through armed rebellion.
Despite calling Ambassador and troops back from niger , the French president refused to recognise the military govt .
Macron added that President Mohamed Bazoum Was being held hostage and was removed from his post because he was carrying out many reforms in the country .
Niger military rulers decided to end the military cooperation with France since the coup took place in the country by military rulers.
Military rulers also accused President Mohamed Bazoum that he was not competent enough to the protect niger against the armed rebellion happening in the western part of the country .
Recently, many Western countries have provided millions of dollars as financial aid to niger to  tackle the challenge of armed groups.
