Zambia: Mutondo Stars Football Club has announced George Chilufya as their new Technical Assistant, marking a significant step in pursuing the development and success of the team.

As per the sources, Chilufya has earlier served as the head coach of Lumwana Football Club. He was also the first assistant for Power Dynamos, Green Eagles and Nkana Football Club. He will bring much experience with him, which will benefit the Mutondo Stars.

George Chilufya expressed in the media that his primary goal is to climb out of the relegation zone and ensure they uphold the position in the upcoming Premier League.

Reportedly, The selection team of the football club is confident that with the expertise and leadership of Chilufya, Mutondo Stars will reach new heights of achievements and performances.

The player was born and raised in Chingola on Nov 26, 1986. He has the citizenship of Zambia.

Mutondo Stars Football Club is a soccer club based in Kitwe, Zambia. The Football Club was promoted to the Zambia Super League, mainly for the 2023-24 season.

Notably, the soccer club was revived in 2020 by the members of the Nkana football club.

Considerably, the sports club played some of their matches in the top flight at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, which included their local rivalry team with Nkana.
