Pondwa Secondary School Headteacher, Elias Chishinge thanked the Member of Parliament Given Katuta for her support. He  revealed that the area MP has since pledged to procure all the needed building materials to ensure the completion of the structure.

“Right now the school is waiting for the delivery of 100 iron sheets that have been donated by the MP,” he said.

Mr Chishinge has thanked the area MP for initiating the project adding that the school is currently experiencing challenges of insufficient learning space because of its big catchment area.

“Once completed, the one by three classroom block will come as a sigh of relief because it will provide the much needed additional space,” he said.
