Nigeria is chosen to host the maiden African-Caribbean Investment Summit. The summit will be coordinated by Hyelsinta Ojo from the Aquarian Consult Ltd (ACL), as disclosed during an official news conference in Abuja.
The inaugural African-Caribbean Investment Summit is designed to forge high impact investment alliances between Africa and the Caribbean. The event has been scheduled to be held for the month of March in Nigeria.
Summit Coordinator, Hyelsinta Ojo revealed the theme and said, ‘Bridging Continents, Africa and Caribbean, a Partnership for Prosperity’ is a catalyst for unlocking new economic frontiers across the vital industries in Africa and the Caribbean.

Furthermore, the coordinator added that the summit is slated to be observed in Abuja, Nigeria from March 25 to 28, 2025, which is a strategic initiative that aims at deepening the economic integration. It will also enhance the cross-border investment and will foster the sustainable business collaborations.
Ojo stated that the summit will mark a pivotal step in strengthening the Africa-Caribbean trade relations. According to her, it will provide an unparallel platform for high-level dialogue, along with strategic networking and impactful partnerships among policymakers, investors and business leaders.
Coordinator Ojo explained that the ACIS 2025 will showcase African investment opportunities to Caribbean investors and vice-versa. She mentioned that the summit will focus on industries, including the technology, agriculture, manufacturing and finance.
The significant event will host an array of distinguished speakers, that will include leaders such as Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis – Dr. Terrance Drew who will be delivering the keynote address alongside the other official delegations.
Former President of the Republic of Mauritius – Dr. Ameenah Gurib-Fakim will also take the stage to share her expertise.
Hyelsinta Ojo highlighted that a dynamic exhibition floor will spotlight cutting-edge innovations, while connecting micro, small, medium and large-scale businesses directly with the investors and industry leaders.
Ojo said that the coordinating entity ‘Aquarian Consult’ holds a track of 16 years in strategy development, business advisory, as well as project management and capacity building.
Notably, the Aquarian Consult has consistently facilitated the strategic partnerships that drive industry growth and will enhance the business performance, while supporting the sustainable development in a changing global economy.
