Malawi: The Illusions club in Lillongwe has made an announcement of organising a new festival ‘Illusionz Beach Festival’ that will be observed from August 30, 2024 to September 01, 2024.
Announcing about the new festival officially in Lilongwe, the Managing Director – Martin Nyirenda said that since its inception Illusionz has collaborated with several international artists who have come to the venue and the club has proved to be an entertainment spot.
MD Nyirenda said that he and his team is excited to introduce the inaugural Illusionz Beach Festival which is a vibrant celebration of music, culture and tourism that is set against the beautiful shores of Salima, Malawi.
As per the information by the managing director, the festival will feature six well-known international artists.
The ‘Illusionz Beach Festival’ will also consider ten talented Malawian artists who promises a diverse and unforgettable experience for attendees. The attendees will share the exhilarating experience from Chilembwe cruise ship on Lake Malawi.
The Illusionz Beach Festival ensures people to captivate the performances from renowned musicians who will celebrate the infectious beats and energetic stage appearances.
Managing Director Nyirenda mentioned that the fest will also feature an impressive lineup of South African artists consisting of Amapiano superstars, Scorpion Kings known to be Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa.
Marketing Executive of Illusionz – Alinane Njolomole said that the entertaining beach fest also aims to serve as a catalyst for promoting tourism in Salima.
Njolomole shared that the new festival will also feature different activities to patrons such as pool parties and wide array of beachside activities that will include water sports, beach soccer, volleyball, beer pong and beach races.
“There is something for everyone to enjoy and we will, in due course announce several exciting things about the event in summer,” said Executive Njolomole
Illusionz’s marketing executive emphasised that by highlighting the natural beauty of the region and the vibrant local culture, the festival seeks to attract visitors from near and far by encouraging exploration and appreciation of Malawi’s rich heritage.
Njolomole has invited the corporate sponsors to visit Illusionz and support the inaugural event which he said will have as an annual event and will run for the next five years.
Since its inception, Illusionz has proved to be an entertainment spot popularly known for hosting several international artists.
