Cameroon: Ivorian Influencer and Pan-Africanist Klikansosso de Bouake has successfully raised 1.4 million francs to help the indomitable lions’ mascot Ngando Pickett to fly back to Cameroon.
As per the sources, previously in an interview, Pickett complained that he was abandoned in Ivory Coast and was unable to afford flight tickets to go back to his home. He blamed strictly the Cameroon National Football Team FECAFOOT.
The influencer was affected by Ngando’s predicament and took to social media and pleaded for his support. After this, a company named Africa Mine donated the whole sum.
Considering the initiative taken by the influencer Klikansosso, ADE appreciated him and wrote, “Thanks to mobilisation by Ivorian influencer Klikansosso de Bouake, persons of goodwill have helped legendary Cameroonian mascot Ngando Pickett with the sum of 1,400,000 for flight tickets for him and his boys to return Cameroon!”

Another media person, Cameroon Congosa Coner, wrote, “So far so good, Ivorian shosha media influencers done contribute 1.4 million gi Ngando Pickett. Beautiful nice gesture from our in-laws and we very much appreciate.”
Coner also wrote a moral lesson which says, “Ngando we no want hear again say you done comot go any placewehh you no get transport. When you turn back rest for ya house di enjoy ya grang pikin them in peace no di waka cause national scandals.”
Following this a user Caroline Anumankwe commented by referring Ngando Pickett, “He is always stranded but will still go for next game he was stranded during world cup and now again.”
Another social media user with the username Black Coffee commented, “That’s the spirit we must adopt as Africans. Great initiative guy.”
A person named Tumsi Randy wrote hilariously, “Hahaha, it’s funny a man at his age from Cameroon don’t understand where he is coming from. In Cameroon any man for himself God for we all.”
Mariah Mukala Ngo Betow wrote, “Hope he has learned his lesson, don’t plan a project or embark on a mission you can’t finance, but now Cameroonians should shun this act of entitlement. Ei sweet Ngando, u are a handful, nobody owes u anything, go n hustle.”
