Ghana: The American rapper legend Ja Rule recently visited his hometown in Ghana. The artist reached his land of ancestors as he was building a school there.
The popular singer and songwriter is very excited to arrive in his hometown and to meet with his village people.
Reportedly, the legendary American rapper and producer Ja Rule arrived in Ghana with his wife Aisha Atkins and his team on Tuesday, April 09, 2024. There he broke the ground for the construction of a classroom block at Nuaso Anglican Primary School.

As per the sources, Ja Rule has signed a partnership with an education venture ‘Pencil of Promise’, which is a non-profit organisation of US that builds schools and increases educational opportunities in the developing world.
Back in 2002, the rapper Ja Rule co-founded L.I.F.E. which is a non-profit organisation that aims to provide youth with extracurricular outlets and educational incentives.
The motto of the organisation is, “Love Ignites Freedom & Education”. It reflects the strong commitment of Ja Rule to prioritize education over incarceration.

The artist believes that the education holds significant importance and demonstrates his personal pursuit of knowledge as he completes the online certification program for Entrepreneurship Essentials from Harvard Business School.
The Pencil of promise has presented a special gratitude to Ja Rule and his wife by sharing an official post on their Instagram handle. The firm shared the snaps and wrote, “Hip-hop icon Ja Rule partners with P.O.P. to build school facilities for primary students in Ghana.”

While expressing themselves P.O.P. said, “Our deepest gratitude to Jeff and Aisha Atkins for supporting brand new classrooms and washrooms for grades K-6 at the Nuaso Anglican School in Eastern region.”
Ja Rule with his wife Aisha Atkins also visited Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and learned more about the history of the country and the impact of the first president of Dr Francis Kwame Nkrumah.
As Dr. Kwame Nkrumah says, “Revolutions are brought about by men, by men who think as men of action and act as men of thought.”
Rapper Ja Rule followed the latest move walking on the footsteps of other celebrities who have invested for the improvement of education in Ghana.
