Botswana: The Kanye Adventist Hospital is commemorating the Prostate Cancer Awareness Month for the men in the country. The health Ministry of Botswana has been urging men to prioritize their health and take the time for regular screenings.
The members of the community have to understand men’s health is as important as the health of the women. The month of October is designated for spreading awareness about Breast Cancer among women.
The next month, November is dedicated to promoting the knowledge about thee Prostate cancer, which affects men. The prostate cancer awareness month, like its predecessor, is celebrated all over the world.
During this month, the members of the community are given the opportunity to get regular prostate screenings. The complete month of November will be dedicated to spreading awareness about the precautionary measures that can be taken to prevent prostate cancer.
Early screenings, which are a necessity in all types of cancers are also encouraged in the prostate cancer. Several hospitals in the country will open their doors for the benefit of the men in the country.
The officials have shared that the cancer of the prostate is one of the deadliest cancer for the male population. The healthcare authorities have as such, have urged the members of the community to keep in touch with their healthcare providers and get the various tests done,

The theme of the commemoration is, Changing the face of Men’s Health. The people have applauded the Kanye Adventist Hospital for taking the initiative of spreading awareness about Prostate Cancer. They have shared hat the members of the community would be welcomed to get screenings for the prevention of Prostate Cancer.
