Botswana: The Kweneng Regional Football Association has announced the final weekly ranks of the Division One games. The final week of the Division One games were won by the Majweng SC. The team, which consistently performed well throughout the tournament, faced defeat only times in the entire tournament.

They ended seven matches in a draw and have moved on to the playoffs to face the other regional teams of Botswana. At the end of Division One, the team managed to secure 70 points in the tournament, with 46 goals for the tournament.

The team that ended up in the second spot at the end of the thirty week season was Matebejana. The team won 20 out of the total 30 matches they played. Further they scored the most goals in the tournamemt against their opponents.

With 72 goals scored by the various members of the Matebejana Team, they scored 65 points in the weekly ranks. Walker XI, the team on Spot three has also managed to show the members of the district their talent throughout the tournament.

At the end of the tournament, the team managed to win 19 matches and scored a total of 57 goals against their opponents. They have also accumulated a total of 65 points throughout the tournament.

The final member of the top four, Sanyane Celtics have won 15 matches, lost 6 out of the remaining 15 and ended 9 matches in a draw. At the end of the tournament, two lowest ranking teams, African Birds and Mega Tornado have been moved to Division 2.

Meanwhile, Majweng SC which emerged as the winners of the 2023-24 Division 1 Season, will now face the other winning teams associated with the various regional associations aligned with the Botswana Football Association.

If the Majweng team manages to win the playoff matches against the four teams in the Southern Block Promotional Playoffs, they will move on to the next step. Meanwhile the team of the Kweneng Regional Football Association has wished them well for their ongoing performances.

They have expressed that they standing firmly in the support of their team as it navigates the Southern Block Promotional Playoffs.
