Malawi Tourism has launched the Malawi taxis in Germany. The travel company began its services at ITB Berlin 2024 on Thursday, March 07, 2024.
The tourism firm has been rolling out the invitation to explore the breathtaking beauty of the nation as the Warm Heart of Africa.
While informing about the launching of the taxis, Malawi Tourism shared a relatable post in which it wrote, “At #ITBBerlin2024 we unveiled the Malawi Taxis in Germany – a rolling invitation to explore the breath taking beauty of our nation, the Warm Heart of Africa.”
They asked people to picture themselves in the surroundings of Germany and wrote, “Picture yourself kayaking on crystal-clear waters or surrounded by lush greenery and majestic mountains.”
“We await you with open arms!” mentioned Malawi Tourism.
They have also shared the pictures of the taxis launched in Germany and has shown the excitement among the people via those photos.
Following the unveiling of the taxis, people have shared their responses and opinions.
A person named Peter Mwenda commented, “I think it could be best if the ministry could be sponsoring the local travel or tourist agents like travel with mervis, coby etc. because they know the sites better and have experience ad visuals of the most exciting places of Malawi, unlike some people here in who I don’t think have understanding of the nature, tourism attracting areas of Malawi.”
Another person Kondwanie Chirembo praised the services and wrote, “Beautiful and the QR code is brilliant.”
Another person Aubrey Castro Singa expressed, “Congrats we also need this in South Africa and Zanzibar considering the number of tourists that visit those countries.”
Madalitso Manda said, “This is a great idea but engage with ministry of transport to fast track building and rehabilitation of roads networks and airports, also make a conducive policies for direct investments towards tourism sector, but all in all good jobs.”
Another person Abida Mia Sidik thanked the travel company and said, “Thank you for a job well done. You have made Malawi proud.”
