The post gives answers for FAQs and as we slide them one by one, it reveals more about the offer. The first foremost thing is that anyone aged 50 or above is eligible for a long-term residence permit. But first you need to show a proof of $18,000 per year income, earning from abroad, that is around $1500 per month.
The applicants can bring their family along with them, which can be their spouses. Dependent parents and unmarried kids can also join them under the same permit.
There is also an option of investing in the Mauritius based properties. The place offers you the chance to buy and own a property there and even invest in the businesses and viola, plus point is that once you own a property you don’t need to work or look for a job to survive, owning a business is completely fine.
But why Mauritius only? Why any other country? At Mauritius people can enjoy living a peaceful island life and stunning views with stable economy and a warm welcome. And the best part is you can apply online. Throughout the entire process you don’t need to visit there, just pack your bags to finally reside there.
The whole process is managed via the National Electronic Licensing System (NELS), as a dedicated online platform. It follows from submitting the applications to receiving approval-in-principle letters, and NELS handles the entire procedure.
