About the Book
This poem book is the third collection of the author’s spiritual journey. The first book, “Between Earth and Sky”, written in 1975 and published in 1976, focused more on humanism and spirituality. The second book, “From Humanism to Spirituality”, was released in October 2021.
The present collection of poems ‘Spirituality and Beyond”, expresses the author’s reflections on spirituality, probes further into the inner self, and tries to decipher what lies beyond spirituality.
The poem book, to some extent, bears the imprint of his insightful readings of Vedic philosophies of India and great spiritual poets, such as Sir Rabindranath Tagore and Shree Aurobindo Ghose. According to the author, the emotions, thoughts, and perceptions articulated in this poem book have been shaped by what he has personally lived, experienced, and felt during his journey in life.
