South Africa: Pearl Mathebula is crowned as Miss Teen Model International 2025 in Peru. South Africa is praising the new international star. The winner is 17 years old and belongs to Limpopo’s Makotopong village.
Miss Teen International 2025 glittering pageant was held in Lima, Peru. The contestant navigated the whirlwind of shock and excitement. Pearl hopes her win will inspire youth from remote villages to push forward, beyond their backgrounds.
The event attracted models from different countries across the globe to compete for the title. The win is in continuation of her victory as Miss Teenager South Africa 2024, 17-year-old contestant, was first officially crowned after beginning her modelling journey at the age of 14.
As per Miss Teenager South Africa, Pearl brought laurels to the country with her grace, beauty and power, and proved that African excellence knows no bounds. Career of this Limpopo beauty queen is taking flight and is a dream come true.
The Makotopong village girl hopes that she inspires the youth from the remote village and proves anything is attainable if you work towards it.
Pearl was crowned Miss Teen Model International 2025 on Sunday, June 15, 2025. It was her eloquent answers that made her stand out in the national costume. She had the international panel and audience singing her praises.
While giving her winning speech Pearl became emotional and said, “I am deeply honoured and grateful.”
She further added in her acceptance speech that representing South Africa and Limpopo on this international stage has been a dream true.
“I look forward to using the platform to inspire other young women in our country to pursue their ambitions with courage and kindness,” added Pearl Mathebula.
Her journey of modelling began when she was crowned Miss Teenager SA in December 2024. The title recognised her beauty, her drive, confidence, and passion for youth empowerment there, and then later in Peru.
Pearl Mathebula is the first South African to win the Miss Teen Model International title. The Miss Teenager SA organization congratulated her on social media and eulogised her by calling her “a shining symbol of South African empowerment and cultural pride on the global stage”.
