South Africa: The family of 35 year old Mervin Padayachee (pictured) is requesting witnesses/information that could assist in locating him.
Padayachee resides in Wyebank – KZN. He lives alone and is a self employed plant mechanic. His family grew concerned after they failed to make contact with him on Wednesday.
After making enquiries in the area, they learnt that he was assaulted by seven (7) males on Monday or Tuesday afternoon before he was loaded into the boot of a vehicle.
He was allegedly unresponsive. One of the seven men was overheard saying that Padayachee’s body should be dumped between Verulam & Phoenix.
The family were unable to obtain any further information as members of the community were afraid of reprisal from the suspects.
